Hi,

I've purchased Jbusiness Directory which is really great !

Two questions are coming:

- would it be possible to have custom attributes, type select box, but with multiple choices possible ? This would be easier than checkboxes in the search module.

- is it possible to have a listing category which should be visible only by a special Joomla group ?

Thanks !

Hi,

Please find our answers below.

1. The multiple select box is already on our development list and will be available soon.
2. Categories are visible all users, it is not possible to make them visible for some user groups.

Great for point 1 !

For the second point, I found your answer to create different independant directories :

"You have to create 3 menu items on type Business Listings and for each menu item, you have to set the corresponding category.
For search facility, you will have to create 3 search modules and set the menu item id from each of the menu items created."

If the menu and the module for the category on which I need a restriction is only accessible for a special Joomla group, do you think this could solve my problem ?

Thanks!

Hi,

Yes, that could be feasible if your users don't access a category directly by changing the URL. You will be restricting a menu item only not a category.
