I am starting to try this system. I need only the simple room reservation as this component is. I am switching from Jomres that is become too complex and too powerfull for me. I only need to take simplest five room reservations. I like this component's semplicity and its light way to run, and I made a donation (I will do again). I am testing it and I am trying the main function that I need: stop the bookings when a room is reserved. This needed is caused by the high season. In the highest season a lot of families wants to take reservation for the same apartment at the same day. I TRIED all combinations in the reservation management: Waiting - Pause - Paid - Error - Reserved - Checked in  - Checked out ..... None of these states blocks the booking engine. I don't know what is the right setting. Thanks for your help.

To make a room unvailable you can set the availability to zero for the desired days in the Custom Rates section. You can access the Edit Custom Rates section in the backend when editing a room or from the Availability section after choosing the hotel/room.

It should be automatic. If the customer try to rent a room the booking arrives. If he try to book again the booking arrives again. This means that the administrator of the reservations must write a lot of advises to comunicate to customers that he must decline the bookings. Please insert it in the wish list of the component. It works. But it is a little bit frustrating job. To minimize the administrator work it should be insert a value in the Reservations panel for reservations: approved. This could makes the weeks (or calendar days) unavailable. Not automatic? Ok, it could be usefull to get reservations anyway during the administrator pauses. But the easiest way to make unavailable the calendar days is not reedit prices, but choose a voice in a dropdown menu. This is a wishlist point to add to your roadmap. Thanks again.
