J-BusinessDirectory - Code in attributes for custom fields

I was wondering what the code is in the custom attributes. i have just been throwing a number in there cause i do not know what to put in or what it is used for and if I try to save without putting something in it says that it is required.

Code is the indentifier of the custom attribute. It should be a single work that is representative. E.g. skype, schedule...
