J-BusinessDirectory - J-BusinessDirectory 3.5.0

Hi,

I have uploaded the latest version of J-Businessdirectory for Joomla 2.5.  However I have noticed a few issues with it. 

• Business logos are no longer showing against businesses listed under business category.
• When adding a new business (since updating) it will only save 2 images no matter how many I upload.
• Images have dropped off some of my existing businesses the were in place prior to updating to new version.

Also, is there an easy way to get rid of the /index.php/ and the ID number in the page url?

I would also be interested in knowing about why the logos have been removed from the search results page, and the listings when in Category view.  That said, what would probably work best is if logos did show, but nothing shows if no logo has been uploaded, rather than showing the blank image.

But to answer your other questions...

Removing index.php from your URL isn't anything to do with J-BusinessDirectory, but it is easy to do yourself by following the instructions at this link (it looks complicated but it really isn't)...

And as for the ID number in the URLs, well I personally would prefer it if they weren't there, too.  But as I understand, they have been put there to avoid conflicts.  I would like the choice, or even better, the ability to choose your own alias for every listing.

There is no limitation introduced related to business images. If packages are enabled and the logo is not in package features, the image will not be shown

@CMA Gardner: Can you provide us joomla admin access (using contact form)? We will check the problem with image upload limitation.

In the next version we will provide the possiblity to add/remove the id from url.

Since version 3.5.0 there was introduced an improvement for search time, but it seems that this affects the logos.

To fix this please edit {jooma}/administrator/components/com_jbusinessdirectory/tables/company.php and on lines 130 and 299

replace

left join #__jbusinessdirectory_package_fields pf on p.id=pf.package_id and pf.feature='featured_companies'

with

left join #__jbusinessdirectory_package_fields pf on p.id=pf.package_id

Sorry for not responding, have only just seen your replies to my query. 

Have updated to the latest version and logos are back up (yeah!).  Haven't yet tested if it will now allow me to upload more than 2 images.  Will get back to you on that one if it doesn't.  Apart from that it all seems to be working well.  Thanks!

Have just tried to upload business images into a new business.  It allowed me to upload the images but would not save them.
