Hi,

Is there a setting to stop spam on these forms?

The request a quote one has a checkbox to confirm age and this stops spam bots.

I don't understand why it's not only for people that have accounts

To stop the spam messages, you need to activate Captcha on Joomla general configuration and also on JBD configuration.
