after many trials and errors also with JCH optimize before that maybe latest version working well, I can recommend JSpeed plg if you want tro speed up your site. It have a lot of settings and you can customize it for your needs.

Only one JBD listing issue and setting is that you have to do this:

HTTP/2 settings - Enable HTTP/2 Server Push - Assets types - Disable-->image

*** Disable the image asset type bcs it doesnt work with JBD listings at least not for me. I guess there is some lazyload, cache etc for JBD listing menu issues there but working well with offers, events menu listings.

I have also been talking with them about this plugin.

I asked what template works best with JSpeed and this was the reply I received:

   "Anyway, it's important that the template chosen is as light as possible and not too much based on Javascript and CSS effects."

I am using Helix Ultimate 2.

It works fine but it is buggy likely heavy.

Kind of wondering if there is a better option for top performance?

On their Facebook, they have websites clocking a Google PageInsight scores of 99.

What template are you using?

A clean Helix Ultimate v 2.0.6 with Bootstrap 5 and SP Pagebuilder Pro  Helix Ultimate v 2 by Joomshaper

I think Its a tradeoff to have easy good many design elements with a template framework or redesign a fast clean std Joomla Cassiopea template as option.

Other nice template frameworks is Joomlart T4  https://www.joomlart.com/t4-framework  free Purity is fast but not updated yet https://www.joomlart.com/joomla/templates/purity-iii and Yootheme Pro with predesign styles similar like SP Pagebuilder imports https://yootheme.com/page-builder

I think yootheme has the best design feel bcs its german guys I think that doing that on Sacha. I tried the old version long long time ago and it worked ok but now I think its really nice with new Pro version...

I dont know who is better regarding performance bcs that also depending how you build your site of course..
