JHotelReservation Forum - Need special code for payment

Hello,

Actually, I'm using paypal to make a reservation. In case the client comes, no problem, but in case he cancels reservation, I have to pay 2 times to paypal, once to get money and another time to refund.

How can I avoid it ? I would need to have a process like booking.com that ask credit card info to check if the card is ok but not taking money on the bank account.

Or maybe using bank order but i need new fields in order to get credit card number and to send it by https. And then i need to check that number is a real credit card.

Can you makes me a quote for that.

and does the credit card process works ? does it check the credit card number or just store data ?

How does the admin in backend can see credit card info because the data is hided by **** and we don't see all data.

To avoid the problem that you have depends on the payment gateway. Some gateways allow some preauthorization of the amount to be charged and some not.

Do you have a payment gateway that you would like to use? (Payapal PayFlow Pro processor is available only in USA and Canada).
