JHotelReservation Forum - Paypal Question

Hi

I heard that Jhotel only uses Paypal Pro to process orders. I only have a standard business account. Is this going to be a problem?

JHotelReservation uses PayFlow Pro as a credit card procesor. In your business account you'll have to have the Website Payments Pro application enabled or you can apply for a PayFlow Pro account. We recommend to use Website Payments Pro as it is cheaper than the PayFlow Pro.

We are planning to introduce two new processors soon.

I have problem using JHotel Reservation with payment processors. Payflow Flow Pro is only active in a few countries.

Can you tell us when you will add new payment processors? Also I am very interested in offline payments.

Is it possible to have payment using a standard business account?

Hi Sandu,

Currently PayFlow Pro is available only for U.S. and Canada. We are currently working to integrate a new payment processor based on PayPal Express. We estimate to have this ready in two weeks or sooner. 

You can disable the payment system from the Application Settings, meaning that credit card details are no longer required. Also when performing backend reservations you could opt for cash as an option, meaning that customers can pay later via another method of payment(transfers, chash, money order, etc. ).

What about paying using a standard business account in Paypal? This would be the best option here in Romania - the client being able to pay using Paypal(or direct through credit card) so it will not be necessary to enter their card data directly on my site.

Please let me know when will be available Paypal express- seems to be the right choice for me.

I too am interested in the basic PayPal option that does not require the PayFlow Pro account.  I just purchased J-HotelReservation.  How close is the modification to being complete?

We expect to release the new processor at the end of the week. We had some delay in terms of functionality and QA.
