note: I'm using 4.6 beta. forgive me if these are already on your tracker

1 CATEGORIES

should be higher (much higher) in the admin area

what is the diff between 'category' and 'main category?' (why is 'main' listed second)

2 OGANIZATION

one long column is hard to deal with - would love to see tabs or accordion for various sections

3 DATE ORDER

Would like to display Sunday first day of week

4 METRO / MASONRY

For paid or featured items, a checkbox option to display full container width in grid view (or to be able to select column span 2, 3, etc). This is on the wireframe in my client's possession, but alas, the J-BIZ component doesn't use Joomla's MVC superpowers so I have some 'splainin' to do.

5 LAYOUT MANAGER

Something to allow us to position the component's output so we can place maps here, the grid there, the filter somewhere else - sort of like T3 or something. Right now we select from preselected layouts, none of which put things where I would like them.

Hi,

Please find our answers bellow.

R: The main category is used for setting the markers icon on maps.

R: We already have tabs on registering on front-end after you choose a package. We will migrate this view everywhere in the near future.

R: Where should this be done?

R: J-BusinesDirectory uses full Joomla's MVC but it cannot act like a template to provide a layout builder for module positions. You can override the views using Joomla override and accomplish what you desire.

DATE ORDER
Order of days should be both back and front end (spec. 'store hours'). In the US, at least, our calendars are all based on Sunday as the first day.

LAYOUT CONTROL
I get what you're saying, but I feel like I'm running a Wordpress app inside Joomla - with only rudimentary circa 2004 design controls. A shortcode system (or some basic bootstrap grid compatibility) would allow the designers to design to specific client needs. I'm not really getting the benefit of Joomla, other than its CMS.

R: We will take this into consideration for next versions.
