I have tried European and European 2 format. Both are wrong.I need 12, rue de Paris NOT rue de Paris, 12
Looking for this for months now. Cant understand that this is still not implemented exept you alter core files...
Hi,
For most European countries, the standard address format is with the street number after the street name.
If you want to have the street number before street name you can choose the American standard.
Very logical indeed. We live in france and I most select the American format.
I have tried all of them. None is correct. The official address format for french people is done this way :
Agree with Nerovik, it has nothing to do which format you chose. It is hard-coded in the edit.php as far as I rememberg right now.
Hi,
The format of the address is not hard coded.
What is format on French? (it is not a regular European format)
street_name, street number, city, region, zip code?
Once again, the expected format is :
street number, street name zip code city (country if necessary)
Hi,
This format has been introduced in version 4.8.0 and it's called American 3.
We will change the format naming to avoid confusion in the future.
Have a look to this event:
The format is wrong when I use the Google autocomplete.
The street number comes before the street name. In germany it must be
[street_name] [street_number]
[zip] [city]

I did not get any satifactory answer to my question. Is the problem solved?
