J-BusinessDirectory - advise for user registration plugin

Hello, 

can you please advise any registration plug-in which would work well with jdirectory?

Can you also explain how I can use the ACL, because I don't see what how it can be usefull with Jdirectory.

Hi,

You can use any Joomla registration plugin. J-BusinessDirectory uses the default Joomla user mechanism.
With ACL you can provide access only to some groups of users to access Control Panel, create business listings or other items. For that you will need to set Front-end ACL to yes.

Ok I think I have understood that if a user is registering via the add buisiness -> choose plan (businessuser?filter_package=2) it is register with the usergroup select in the general settings.

And if it registers via the normal registration it gets the Joomla default one.

Based on this I have created 2 usersgroups:

- Business owner (groups indicated in the Jbusiness-Directory / general settings)

- Customer (Default joomla group)

So when a new business owner registered for creating a business, it gets the business owner group; this is ok

When a Customer create an account to get an offer coupons; it is assigned the Customer group; this is ok. 

Where it is not ok for me and so I'm certainly doing something wrong; it is when one business owner CLAIMS A BUSINESS; in this case it is redirect to register via the joomla registration and gets the customer group and not the business owner group.

Based on this; Is there a way to send the claim buisness to the business creation registration page; and without going to the listing information?

Hi,

Currently this functionality is not implemented. You can modify the user group after the claim is done.
We will improve this in the near future.
