Why is the id field not included when you export to csv?

When importing from csv, why is the "name" field used as unique identifier the  instead of the id # field?

I think not the name, but the alias is the unique key.

But, support the idea to have ID number, not direct related to 'internal' numbering. Why? I like to give companies option to have banner / ad with their own ID.

We will check to see if the ID can be included in the import/export process.
The import process was mostly designed to have new listings in the system.
