J-BusinessDirectory - Can't get any of the demo data to show on the website

I installed the plugin and then installed the demo data and manually uploaded the demo images. I cannot get any of the data to showon the website.

I tried the JBusinessDirectory - Latest Businesses slider on the home page and none of the listings show. I created a Show Categories menu item and the page is blank except two horizontal lines across the page.

Have I missed something in the installation? Do I need to uninstall everything and reinstall?

Hi,

Packages are active and there is no order associated with the business listing.

If packages are enabled on general settings/business listing tab, your business listings will be shown on front-end only if there is a free package defined or there is a paid order associated with the business listing. The order is generated when a paid package is chosen on business listing edit or when the package is changed when editing a business listing. Orders are not generated on free packages.

If a free package is defined all business listings will be associated with package features and they will be shown on front-end.

The selected package features that are available when creating/editing business listings, will be shown on front-end only if the order associated with the package is paid.
When a package expires the business listing is automatically associated with a free package (if one is defined) otherwise it will not be shown anymore on front-end.

We have generated some orders for some of the business listings by activating another package and changed twice the package. We have set the orders to paid and the business listings are shown.

I need to import just over 100 business listing from another system. Is there an easy way to set these to Active-paid without manually changing the package to create an order then mark each order as paid?

I have a good knowledge of SQL if it is something that can be done via the database.

Hi,

In order to make the orders paid you can set the state to 1 on orders table in database. This will make the order paid.

If there is no free package and no paid order the business listings are not shown.
