J-BusinessDirectory - Date Fields

Hi,  

We are just adding custom fields to the additional info area in Business Directory and can't see an option to set the format of the field to date.  Is this something that can be done without the need to code the field (such as only allow entry of DD/MM/YYYY where DD/MM/YYYY cannot be before today)?

Dont checked this but what is the default for "the format of the field to date"? and where it comes from..

The date fields can be configured in the directory general settings -> general tab.
