J-BusinessDirectory - Different fields for different categories

I have four fundamentally different basic categories whose entries differ in many details.Can I create fields for each of these basic categories and query them when entering entries, which are then only available in this category?

Hi,

Yes, you can create custom fields specific to those categories.
You need to set "Enable attribute categories" to yes in the directory general settings.
