J-BusinessDirectory - Disable email notification to non-Administrators

How do i disable listing notifcations 'temporarily' until i have recreated my database?

Once the database is tested and launched, I would want to re-enable notifrications so new listings and changes are communicated.

I have tried to diable individual email templates but that doesn't work - the attempt fails and the template remains enabled.

I would appreciate your help in understanding how this works.

You can unpublish all emails on the email templates section and no email will be sent to customers anymore.

I have already tried to disable/unpublish the individual email types by this fails. I'm clicking the publich/unpublish button (symbol) but joomla triggers a message saying:
