J-BusinessDirectory - Free Trial

Hi,

A search of these forums on the ability to set up free trials revealed the following post from September last year:

"Currently the extension does not support free trials. This is already on development and will be available on version 4.7.0"

As my site is not yet live (because of no free trial) I have installed 4.7.1 RC1 but canot see how to set this up. It doesn't seem any different from previous version.

Is this free trial feature available?

The phrase This is already on development and will be available on version 4.7.0" was meant for a different functionality. We don't offer trial software. 

The RC stands for Release Candidate which is not a stable vesion and may contain some bugs. If you want a stable version please wait for the relase of it. 

Simply install the new version in the Joomla backend.  

Maybe I did not explain it clearly. I don't want free software.  I want Businesses to be able sign up to a free trial of a listing in my directory, but have the same problems as detailed in this topic:

That topic indicates that the ability to set up free trials for customers of Business Directory would be coming in 4.7.0. did it make that release or 4.7.1?

I'm fine with installing .0 software. I work in the software industry and know all about RC releases. I have a backup of 4.6.8 I can easily roll back to. This was for testing.

I requested the same functionality. What you can do: Add a coupon-code where you get 100% desicount on a package the user should try out.

I did not open my site yet and cant tell you if this is forcing visitors to do it. I think its a problem because an order is being placed befor entering the coupon code. This will confuse the users, so I think thats not the best solution...

The feature for trials perdios is on development and will be relased with version 4.8.0 that will be out in 3-4 weeks from now.
We did not wanted to have even a bigger delayed on releasing versions 4.7.x and this was postponned to version 4.8.0.
