J-BusinessDirectory - How do I change the category icons?

I checked the path of the standard noimage icon which is media/com_jbusinessdirectory/pictures/no_image.jpg, so I uploaded a number of icon images to that directory but in the backend, the dropdown for "set icon" contains all kinds of images but not the images I uploaded.Shouldn't there be an "upload custom icon" function in the backend?

The icons from categories are not images, they are generated by using font awesome.
Currently, there is no possibility to upload images for category icons.

So there is an image per category, but no way of assigning an individual image per category? That does not make any sense at all. Why add an image to the category view in the first place?

found it. It's the "Image" function, not the icon function (no idea what that is for?)

although all image are the same size 400 by 300 and all category titles are just one line of text?

On the categories page, the view is based on Pinterest mechanism which shuffles the images and the alphabetical order is not preserved.
The alphabetical order is preserved only if all images have the same size. Some of your images have 400x300px and some 424x283 (http://kiddu.de/media/com_jbusinessdirectory/pictures/categories/Ballonfahren-1497287770.jpg)

We will release also a view which does not shuffle the images on version 4.9.

I noticed in a previous post that it was not possible to use own images as category icons.

Has this changed? It will be a great feature if possible
