I would like to draw attention to two things:

1.) Since January 1, 2025, there is a legal obligation in Germany (with a transitional period) to issue so-called e-invoices. However, e-invoicing is already mandatory in other European countries or will become mandatory in the near future. In Italy, the obligation for B2B transactions has existed since 2019; France is introducing it gradually starting in 2024, and many other EU countries are preparing similar regulations. Additionally, the EU plans to introduce a cross-border e-invoicing requirement across the EU as part of the "VAT in the Digital Age" (ViDA) initiative, so similar requirements will apply in many countries in the medium term.

Will this be addressed in a timely manner, or do I need to consider switching to another directory in 2026 / 2027?

2.) I would also very much appreciate it if the features related to invoices and orders were slightly expanded:

• Currently, it is not possible to change the invoice number without manipulating the database.
• Invoices are also issued and billing data is retrieved even when the invoice amount is 0,00€. It would be helpful to have an option to choose not to issue an invoice in such cases, so that fewer documents need to be stored and managed.
• Also, if a company is deleted, the associated invoice can no longer be downloaded. However, since we are legally required to retain issued invoices, this poses a serious problem.

How do you thing about the suggestions?

Great! The payment process with different currencies, VAT and system invoices is important features that must work flawlessly.
