J-BusinessDirectory - JBD - Bump Listing - Feature Request

I wanted to recommend a listing bumping feature.

The feature would allow Business-Users to bump their listings to the top of all other listings:

1. To the top of featured listings, or
2. To the top of regular listings.

On another app, it worked this way:

  1. Business-User can purchase packages of bumps or add them to existing packages for a set price
  2. The "Default Order Listing" is set to "Last Added"
  3. When Business-User use a bump their listing creation date is reset causing it to go up to the #1 position.
  4. Business user's listing appears at the top of other listings until a newer created listing or there is a bump by another user

"On another app, it worked this way:" do you have any reference to that "app"? link or etc

I do have a link, but it is a competitor's script.

Not sure if it is against the rules to post it here?

If so, please advise and I will erase the name and link:

   - URL: Bump up & Highlight Plugin for Classifieds Sites (flynax.com)

Here is part of the plugin's description:

"Once the Plugin is installed and packages added, users will see two new links next to their listings: Bump Up and Highlight. The links navigate to separate pages where users may select bump up and highlight packages. The procedure for bumping up and highlighting is quite simple: a user selects a package or goes straight to the checkout if one package is available only, makes a payment through an available payment gateway, and his listing gets bumped up or highlighted. The user may both bump up and highlight a particular ad.

The Plugin may work together with the Pay-As-You-Go Credits plugin. That is, after purchasing a credit package the user will be able to use the balance for bumping up and highlighting his ads. The available credits will be automatically added to the bump up and highlight packages serving as a quick and on-site payment alternative for bumping and highlighting ads."
