We had the same isseus Backend & front end. We reinstall the 5.2.8 and work again. Untill fix is the best solution.

Also if you have overide must rename it & clean cache. But some problems still there.

Note that 5.3.0 is Beta  Not a version you 'test' live.

Quick solution is to open Business Listings Components -> J-BusinessDirectory -> Business Listing   Will reset view to Standard View

"J-BusinessDirectory v5.3.0 released" is news in your blog.

You need to indicate in the header (Title) that this is beta.

Since we were waiting for the full version, we already asked about it on the forum. Moreover, this belief corrects many problems that are in the projects, so people have been updated.

Ho,Ho,Ho Alex, I'm just a JBD user, not related to CMSJunkie :-)

Agree, that CMSJunkie is handling releases not in the the best way, some observations:

- JBD 5.3.0 No Beta mentioned in header, in text still mention 5.2.0

- All released, like 5.2.8 Stable in text " Since this is still a beta version, some bugs may have eluded our QA team but they will definitely not get past you. "

- Several releases with same version number

- No updated manual

I hope CMSJunkie will improve this in future

Hello

Many thing must fix. I agree with Robert Bal.

In news the title is

J-BusinessDirectory v5.3.0 released

so many people maybe make the install without read the content.

Also in demo page still is the 5.2.8 vertion so nobody can see how it work before install.

Also the documedation is old.

All people, i think, in this forum comment to help the JBD team make this component better.

With suggestion & fixxes make and our life better.

Hi,

We've added the BETA wording to avoid confusion. A new update for the documentation is on the way.

Thank you for your feedback.

Thanks for your post and update Mike and Merry Christmas to you all!

Merry Christmas! And how long to wait for the stable version ?

Happy Holidays everybody!

We ussually have a 2 weeks cycle for each version hence another 4-5 weeks to get to a stable version.  As always we're trying to speed things up.
