I have JBD 5.4.3 with JBD Quote Requests 1.2.

But the JBD internal backend installer list with this extra addon say update to "Newer version avaible. Please update!"?

Isnt jbd-quote-requests-v1.2.0 the latest version?

Anyone got this working?

I tried now for 1,5 hour to make this work but no requests working or any requests buttons appear on my site either so hope this is a bug that get solved.

Any tips or comments that it works for you appreciated. Thks.

Did you read that:

JBD-News: "After the extension update, we always recommend updating the view overrides and clear also the browser cache.
If you are performing an update from an older version please make sure that you are not using anymore any deprecated modules. The deprecated modules have a deprecated keyword in the name of the module."

Isn't your site "whattodo"? There is no css or javascript loading from that module in the category view. So it seems the module isn't loading at all. I think the ticket support will help you.

@ssnobben, you can check this in table jbusinessdirectory_directory_apps

Required version is 1.1.0 (according table), not sure if your present version is updated correct. 

edit:

Two options:

- Table isn't updated with correct version

- Is a bug, when you have higher version still mark that need to be updated.

Nope says required version is 1.3.0 and I can only see version to dl 1.2.0. So all other versions is "old"

Seems you can not trust what is updated or not.

I think we have to withdraw todays news: "It is the first time in the J-BusinessDirectory history when the QA's could not find any bugs on the final tests." The quality team have still much to do :)

I have tested a bit more and this function must be work a little bit different to be good.

I will come back here with more suggestions and results of this bcs I think nobody now uses this function and it works for them.

I could get it to work only when I choose United States America and not the locations like Nevada, Las Vegas etc that doesnt work even I have listings there. So seems to work on highest level for location and on highest level for categories only. And the questions could not be set to a subcategory then it doesnt work either and find that listings for quotes working only for top category.

For example its very hard coded right now to forced to choose a high level category first and force you to have next step for a high level location to get going for quotes.

And you have to click on a category to activate the Quote module to show up too and that should be there always without having to choose a category first.

So all requests from one business listings or just from a category/subcategory or other filter must be coordinated summarized and get to the different business owners respectivley thats the challenge for JBD and this function.

So the workflow here in many parts can be improved so lets help to get this better and easy to use for end users!
