J-BusinessDirectory - JBD and Mass Mailing / Client Relations Management

I know that these two issues have been discussed before.

However, what is the current status on JBD working with (1) Mass Mailing and (2) Client Relations Management (CRM) extensions? Basically, it appears that I have a large database full of companies that I cannot (1) contact, or (2) effectively manage unless it is a system totally outside of JBD.

(1) Mass Mailing Issue: It would be great if I could reach out to the businesses in my database from time to time to tell them about things, including 

•    Sales Promotions,
•    Updating their listings,
•    Visit the website,
•    New website Features (campaigns, trips, etc.), or
•    General Settings, Terms, or Privacy policies setting changes. 

AcyMailing would be nice, but MailChimp would be better as it integrates with Tassos Marinos products. Is it presently possible to mass-mail JBD businesses?

(2) Client Relations Management (CRM) Issue: As I understand, in the recent past there were no J4 compatible CRM extensions. However, presently both JS WebDesign, and JoomCRM are compatible with J4, there may be others. Basically, I need a method to take notes, attach attachments, and store information that results when communicating with business representatives.

I hope I can get some useful information as I am currently STUCK and think I need to begin researching CRM and mass mailing components OUTSIDE of JBD. Such a system would seem very expensive and extremely difficult to manage.

I looked at JBD’s “Marketing” tab in the admin control panel to see if there was a mass mailing solution there:

The page looks promising but incomplete / not finished?

The page allows administrators to “Send marketing emails to your directory".

However, there are only the following 3 email templates in the dropdown and NO apparent way to ADD additional templates:

      1. Listing Creation Notification
      2. Statistics of Listings
      3. Upgrade Package Notification

In JBDs “Email Templates” tab in the admin control panel contains the above 3 email templates:

Too bad there is NO way to add more email templates, even just a few more would be better than nothing?

I think this is an good idea and also have this integrated with JBD stats data. I did a profile on a high respected business directory and there I got these update emails.

Example and this could of course be improved to fit JBD and maybe als ACY mailing etc
