J-BusinessDirectory - JBD listings not switching to associated language

Hi all,

Hoping someone can help me with a language URL issue I'm having.

I have 2 languages on my site. So my site URLs look like this:

www.mysite.com/index.php/en/

www.mysite.com/index.php/ja/

A directory listing page URL looks like this:

www.mysite.com/index.php/en/jbd-page

When I change language from a directory listing page I would like to get the associated page in /ja/, but whilst it correctly changes to /ja/ but it also adds this suffix:

www.mysite.com/index.php/ja/jbd-page&lang=ja

And returns a 404 error. :(

So, I am trying to remove the suffix &lang=ja at the end of the URL. 

SEF URLs is enabled. So according to the Language Code info (in Extensions > Content Languages: Edit Content Language) I shouldn't get this suffix. 

Menu page associations all work fine, it is just JBD listing pages that return the 404 error. Any ideas what I am missing?

First have you enable Joomla "Use URL Rewriting" for htaccess and use "modern" router in Joomla backend admin?and use a std or master Joomla htaccess file. Bcs index.php part will disappear and you have nicer SEO optimised urls..

A tips is to use a Joomla master htaccess too with more security options etc or use/buy Joomla admin tools Pro where you have all these and more options too enhancing security, speed and SEO.

yes you are right the latest update created this problem and seems to be something wrong with the url translator plugin creating &lang=en etc.. it returns a 404 error. :( so you are right

Pls report this with support ticket bcs this is a bug..

Yikes. A bug?! So, no fix anytime soon. :-(

I assume that means almost everyone with a JBD multi language site has the same problem.

A fix was applied in order to fix the issue and will be integrated in 5.4.10 version.

It was fixed quickly now in latest JBD release 5.4.10

Nope something not right now with the seo url got &lang=en , &lang=xx for urls if you click on Joomla std language flags for changing language. And modules doesnt respect Advance module manager settings ie url exlude languages matches where you want to disable modules on certain url ie /xxx/

I get this when going back from one offers linking back to offers categories: https://www.xxx.com/en/component/jbusinessdirectory/offers?reload=1&Itemid= instead of a clean url as before for the offers menu url. I think I have to do also a support ticket for this.
