J-BusinessDirectory - Joomla 4.4 and Joomla 5 released! Problem JBD?

Hi

now a great Joomla update is done Joomla 4.4 and Joomla 5! Pls test and check how latest JBD and apps working.

I only sofar find one issue and its about the booking calender to change the dates there seems not to working and will do a ticket for that.

I know it's early but it would be useful to know what the timetable is for making JBD Joomla 5 compatible and whether it's envisaged to work without the behaviour -backward compatibility plugin?

Once this is fixed, JBD should be compatible with Joomla 5.

Ok thks for update. Means as said by Hleitner that it will be fixed in Joomla 5.0.1 version then..so guess hopefully within 1-2 weeks bcs normally and update comes after the first large version update.

About the "its about the booking calender to change the dates there" I got it to work after some test/fiddeling with js, cache and css files there. So I dont know what changed for Joomla 4.4 about that but now I got it to work but still a bit outside the frame for mobile view that I hope to solve.

I check on test website and after update joomla to 5:

with tle last JBD release all website go down: Class "\Joomla\CMS\Table\CompanyServiceProviders" not found

with JBD 3.8.9 only JBD pages give me an error, the other components work

I don't think it will be enough to wait for the joomla update, I also have problems with joomla 4.3.0 with the latest release:

As said in the topic forum JBD is not ready for Joomla 5 yet bcs of the table error bug there. but George at CMSjunkies have make a fix with help of Hleitner lead dev of Joomla and its a fix there you can add to Joomla but of course this is not fixed yet for JBD.

So we can wait for next update of JBD and then if you like add that fix from HLeitner see Github until it will be updated std for Joomla 5.0.1 version release..

@Eliana Braidot  did you go first by Joomla 4.4 and then to Joomla 5? Bcs thats the recommendation to first use Joomla 4.4 and then from there update to Joomla 5 or did you do a clean Joomla 5 install and tested JBD there? JBD latest working fine on Joomla 4.4.
