Hi,

Regarding the listing-banners on page view style 5.

How exactly do we use this module position as I tried and yet I cannot make my custom module appear on the listing page.

I have set it to position: listing-banners adn even assigned it to the BusLisitng page but nothing appears. what do I need to do?

Hi Prof,

If you have placed a module on the listing-banners position then you can let that module assigned to all pages because that position is avaible only on the busines liting page so you will not have issues displaying that module on another pages ... try to do this and see what happen

Hi Slim,

thanks for the comment. Did all that and still not showing.

hmm does support answer here or is it best to submit a ticket?

Hi,

Try that module on another position and see if everything is ok (displayed correctly)... after that list it again on listing-banners position and don't forget to clean the browser cache

They answer here and if is necessary they will guide you to open a ticket ... You can open a ticket if you think it is necessary :)

Hi,

Starting from version 4.8.0 the module position has been changed to dir-listing

Hi,

I'm sorry ... my mistake ... I forgot about this change because I still use it 4.7.5 Embarassed

Hi,

It's OK. We really appreciate your help Slim :).

ahh ok - the 4.8.1 manual is still listing it as position 'listing-banners'

And still not working even though i changed to dir-listing position

Hi,

On your website the module menu assignment was not set to All and that's why the module was not loaded.

Hi,

Funny ... i did said in my first post on this topic: "If you have placed a module on the listing-banners position then you can let that module assigned to all pages because that position is avaible only on the busines liting page so you will not have issues displaying that module on another pages ... try to do this and see what happen""

Same problem here.

Is there already a solution for it

I placed a menu module on "listing-banners" but module doesn't show up with entry details

Thank You for any help.

The new position is dir-listing . To see the avaible positions you must check the joomla/template/general setings and activate the first option ... ?tp=1 ... then you can add ?tp=1 to any url and it will show you the avaible positions

Thanks Alexandru!

General template option to show module positions didn't work - error 404 whatever I do.

Though I tried the position "dir-listing" some days ago, because it was already suggested some posts back, I tried it again - and it worked!

It's the result that counts! So many thanks to You to bring me back on the correct way.

Hi Peter,

With pleasure. Glad to hear your issue was solved.

"General template option to show module positions didn't work - error 404 whatever I do." - it should work very well. http://take.ms/3uLCT

Use domain/business-alias?tp=1 or domain/id-business-alias?tp=1 if you have Add id in url to YES http://take.ms/rtOTz and you will see http://take.ms/XCYIT

You need this to see the positions from the other pages.

Example for business listing menu item: listing-search is above the business listings, dir-search-listing-top & dir-search-listing are on the left side of the listings. dir-search-category_alias E.g. If you search for automotive category then the module position will be dir-search-automotive

Hope you find a way to make this work. Have a nice day!
