J-BusinessDirectory - Listings go to home page - T3 framework

I have read this can be an issue with some templates and frameworks and that you need to create a menu item somewhere. I thought I had followed the instractions correctly but it is still happening. Could someone please tell me where and how I should be creating this menu item in a little more detail. I am familiar with Joomla but don't have an in depth knowledge.

We are using the latest versions of Joomla, J-BusinessDirectory (with subscriptions), and the bootsrtap T3 Framework theme.

Hi,

There is an issue of displaying the content of a page if the home page menu items is still set. Some templates do not show the content on home page.
In order to fix this you have to create a menu item of Business listing type and set the menu item id on general settings of directory and on search module (if required).
This is happening only when SEO is set to yes.

I already went throughy these steps and I am still getting the error. I have created a "business listings" menu item on the main menu called "Members" it has an id of 170. These are the setting on General Settings -> SEO Settings

Enable SEO: Yes

Menu item ID: 170

Business Url Type: Category

Category Url Type: Keyword

Add menu item alias on Url: No

Add id in url: No

I also set the Menu item id in the search module to 170.
