J-BusinessDirectory - Mapp Zoom Field Questions

Greetings all.

OK, working on a Lawn Service Provider business directory. We have a couple thousand business added, all of them in Florida, USA. 

Onthe HOME page map I have 3 fields for searching: KEYWORD, Categories Drop-Down, and Location/ZIP.

When I enter a ZIP CODE in the "KEYWORD" field - the results page zooms right into the proper location aroudn the ZIP I entered.

But, If I enter the ZIP CODE in the "ZIP CODE" Section, It does not zoom in, but rather shows ALL of Florida (like on the initail home page view) - I would like for it to zoom in also.

I can not create any difference with the ZOOM setting on the back end - I'm also not sure what the range or field "means"? but no matter what number I place in there, I see no difference on any map.

Any thought?

The site is " locallawnservice.com - for a good test ZIP you can use "32259" this should zoom to the top left of Florida (Jacksonville).

Update: OK I see (part of) the reason this happens. When you are taken to the search results screen, after searching by ZIP CODE, i the ZIP CODE Field. The default view is set to ALL. If I then click on "10 MILE" or "25 MILE", etc. it zooms in and shows the circle radius. So now I'm curious can I set "10 MILE" to be the default selection?
