J-BusinessDirectory - Menu Item Link 'show categories' show sub-categories

Hello,
Wondering if it is possible to create a menu item link for 'show categories' and have it show the sub-categories of a specific main category instead of showing all the listings of that main category.

You can create a menu item of type Categories. You have 4 layouts available for categories views. You can change it from general settings of directory extension.

Yes, I see that, however as far as I can tell, the menu item of type Categories only links to the main level categories.  I was asking if it could link to a specific subcategory.
