exists solution to have more than two categories levels ?

Currently, JBD DOES allow for multiple categories.

I am currently using 3 levels.

 

However, here are the problems I have identified:

   1. JBD Search filters are not 'nested' and you cannot see categories after the 2nd level, but if you click on the 2nd level category, the 3rd level categories do appear. However, users will never know that there is a third category.

   2. When using the JBD Categories module the listings after the 2nd category are not counted in the total count. For example, I have 400 listings in a third category, and all are not counted. 

 

I opened a ticket on this subject a bit ago (Dec 19, 2021) on this same subject. Here is the testing I did for CMS. Based on my testing, it is fair to say that many listings are not counted when entered in more than one category. Also, no listings are counted after the 2nd category.

 

TESTING EACH LEVEL ONE BY ONE:

The listings are not counted after category level 2 due to some performance issues.
We are working to improve the mechanism.

Nested categories would be great.

"Nested categories" was only a suggestion.

Not sure what plans CMS has for the above issues.
