J-BusinessDirectory - No new company, no edit company, no import company

Hi, I have some strange issues after installation. There are some demo companies installed, but I can not enter it to edit. Nothing happens. Neither the clicking the NEW button.

The import button causes a blank screen.

After research I found the issues with K2. The fix didn't change anything.

I changed the JRequest::getCmd() and the JRequest::getVar() - no effect.

Any idea, how to fix it?

Hi,

The best way to detect which system plugin is causing the error, you can disable them one by one and check if J-BusinessDirectory is working.

There are 2 places where you have to change JRequest::getVar("task"). If not all places are changed it will not work.

Please check.

If the problem persists there might be other plugin that is cousing the issue. Please provide us joomla admin access to check it. (using contact form)

thank you for this hint! i think it was the zoolanders framework plugin, but i didn't find a deprecate method in there yet. but it's one step forward, so thanks again...

Usually JRequest::getVar("task") creates the problem because taks is composed from 2 parts, controller and task.

I have the same Problem - a new user is registered and the form to save a new business is not saving - only reloading. I using J2.5.27 and K2 is installed too.

Why i can´t see the content of any posts in this forum? Only titles are visible ...

On Joomla 2.5 there is no conflict with k2 system plugin. Another plugin must be causing the problem. We can deactivate the system plugins one by one to see which one is causing the problem.

Please try to use another browser if you cannot see the posts. They are available for everyone.
