J-BusinessDirectory - off canvas menu not displaying

hi guys, 

donwloaded and installed latest j directry template with quick start. the off canvas button menu doesnt appear at all. screen goes dark but nothing displays. 

seems to be a bug as it working on the demo site just fine. 

any ideas please?

Which template are you using? I had the same issue with Shaper Helix Ultimate but the issue was on the template off-canvas setting, which for some reason was turned off on version 2.05 . If you go into the template style menu then set off-canvas, the menu starts to work again.

thank for your reply. im using the J directory default template. 

under template options its loads the helix 205 front end, then under navigationa -> menu type -> its set to mega menu and off canvas. This this the setting you mean ? i dont see anywhere else to adjust. 

the off canvas button does appear in the top menu however when i click it, screen goes dark but now actual menu slides out. 

it is frustrating but hopefully we have a solution.

Did you publish a "Main Menu" module on the "Off-Canvas" position?

Also check in the Joomshaper forum about Off-canvas problem with Helix Ultimate etc..

 

There is info and support how to solve this.

If you cannot find a solution, please create a ticket on our store.

When the off-canvas menu is not working, please edit the template style, click on template options button to access the template settings.
On the menu tab go to off-canvas menu and set the position to the desired position. In some cases the position is not set and that's why it does not appear.

unfortunately this issues is not yet resolved. i have been through all the joomshaper forums and followed all suggestion which might indicate its an issue with helix but it seems to be an issue with your template. 

i noticed another user has the same problem from last week from your current download. 

any chance you can setup a copy of your current version and see the problem for yourself and suggest a fix. it would be really helpfull.
