J-BusinessDirectory - Optimized tables for search module

Hi,

can search module be somehow optimized so that it could load results faster?

we have now configuration like:

cp2.id, cp2.name, cp2.alias, cp2.short_description, cp2.description,cp2.street_number, cp2.address, cp2.city, cp2.county, cp2.website, cp2.phone, cp2.email, cp2.state, cp2.fax

in administrator/components/com_jbusinessdirectory/tables/company.php

We have about 3000 listing and now the module searches about 10s in avarage.

The hosting is not the issue.

Hi,

You can make the category parameter mandatory or other parameter mandatory to reduce the number of listings that are retrieved.
You can also hide the search filter and see how it goes.

I have just "Show keyword" enabled and one custom attribute.

I need the search module to search through name, meta description, description, contact name and two custom fields only but fast.

Disabling the search filter gaines some speed, but then we have no left search filter.
