J-BusinessDirectory - PayPal Test Payment not applying

I have sandbox PayPal accounts setup and configured in payments gateway.


PayPal mode is set to test. I create a new listing and click on pay now. Select PayPal as the payment method. I'm taken to PayPal and make the payment. When I return to the website a "Payment processed succesffuly" message is displayed but the order is not marked as paid.


Any suggestion for what may be going wrong?

Hi,

 

The PayPal processors use automatic notifications to update the payments.
Some of the servers blocks the notifiations from PayPal and the notification is not reached on server anymore. 
Also we recommend to do a live test since PayPal sanbox is not sending the payment notification sometimes.

I tried with live PayPal accounts with the same result. How can I check if the server is blocking notifications. I have other accounts/website on the same server that are using PayPal successfully.

I forgot to mention. I have tested Authorize.net and that gateway worked.
