J-BusinessDirectory - Quick Start install errors

Hello, I have tried to install the Quickstart package per the following instructions received via email:

"You can download the quickstart with the directory extension included on j-konnect-quickstart.zip
The quickstart will provide you the same setup like on our demo.
Quickstart is a Joomla installation kit that has to be installed like joomla."

I have gone through the process 4 times yesterday and today, each time deleting all files in the directory and then creating a new database.

Last step of the install I receive the following error:

Table 'XXXXXXXXXX.#__utf8_conversion' doesn't exist SQL=UPDATE `#__utf8_conversion` SET `converted` = 2

Any assistance would be appreciated!

The issue has been fixed and it was related to the j-konnect-no-extension quickstart not the quickstart on the link that you mention.
You can download the quickstart again and it should work.

On dip investigation of the installed folders & files, the following are missed from the general structure of the Joomla 3.6.2 :

- Administrator / Logs
- Administrator / Logs / admintools_breaches.log
- Administrator / Logs / error.php
- Administrator / Logs / joomla_update.php

Definitly, it's a bug in Quickstart or missed seting(s) that will creat this problem.

I'm not expert in Joomla & Joomla Security, but I believe that this must be addressed in order to patch the posible whole and raising a future problem in functionality and security of the website.

Hi,

The files that you mentioned are only log files that have nothing to do with functionality. They are generated when accessing some parts of applications to show you some info.
Some of the files that mention are related also to some other extension and should not be found on a default installation.
