as I can see, in the search modules, categories with no subcategories in activities and events?
or I can make sure that, after selecting the category, it appears another field that makes me choose the subcategory combined?

You need to set show subcategories to yes on search module settings.
The categories and subcategories are shown in the same select box.

so when I insert the activity should I choose the subcategory where directly add and not before the category and then subcategory?
