J-BusinessDirectory - Setting Default View-Mode

I would like to set the default view (now List view) to have the default mode be GRID VIEW. Does anyone know where that can be done, or is that something which needs to be set in the code?

Currently this can be achieved only by modifying the code. Depending on the view that you use you can activate grid view first.

Would like to know how to change the code to set the default view to Grid. It looks much better.

I'm trying to do this too but nothing I change makes it default to grid. I found it in default.php but I've tried changing everywhere it references, but it always defaults to list view no matter what. How do you change it so grid shows default?
