J-BusinessDirectory - Setting up Trial

Hi,

I'm on 4.8.1 and trying to create a package with Trial. All appears fine with the setup. Yearly price of X with 6 month trial at a cost of 0, but when I add a test listing, at checkout the payment required is X, the full year price when I'd expect it to be 0. Am I missing something in the setup somewhere? I've had a good look around and can't see any other settings relating to Trials and the manual doesn't give any more info.

Hi,

The trial packages are working only with recurring payment methods. On one-time payment method full amount is charged from the start.

What is the valid technical reason for that? I bought this product in 2015 and have still not been able to go live with it. I waited forever for the promised Trial functionality and now it's here it isn't actually complete.

What recurring payment methods are supported and how do I set it up with PayPal at least to get me started? The information may be on your site somewhere, but when it takes 15-20 seconds to load each page I don't have the time or the patience to go looking.
