Successful PayPal Payment but Order Not Updated
As per Roger's post at http://www.cmsjunkie.com/forum/paypal-test-payment-not-applying we are also experiencing an issue after a successful PayPal payment where "Pay Now" is still being displayed on returning to the website (see image).
Do we need to enable "Auto Return" and/or "Payment Data Transfer" in PayPal?

Hi,
The payment notication is done using the IPN service from paypal.
On the payment processor the notify_url is set automatically on payment request.
On test mode the paypal server is not sending always the payment notification. You should perform some tests on live mode.

I have enabled IPN in PayPal as shown below and tried processing a live payment but am still seeing "Pay Now" when returning to the website.
