J-BusinessDirectory - Trouble Installing JBD Conference on Joomla 4

I am having problems installing JBD Conference 2.0.0 on a Joomla 4 site.The problem is just with Conference:  JBD and its various plugins are installing fine, as are packages from other developers.

NB all php.ini settings etc have been checked and are correct. 

Tried two ways:

a) upload package file

JInstaller: :Install: Can't find Joomla XML setup file.
Unable to detect manifest file.

b) install from folder

JInstaller: :Install: Can't find Joomla XML setup file.
Path does not have a valid package.
Unable to detect manifest file.

Does anyone have an idea/ solution?
