I tried the "custom registration" option in the JBD settings. But when activating it, the user gets the e-mail activioson mail two times. Addditionally he doesn't need to activate / click the activision-link it anymore, because the Joomla user accounts are already activated whithoud any verification made.
This seems to be a bug.
The custom registration bypass the Joomla mechanism and automatically activates the user.
You can disable the custom registration if it does not fit your needs.
We will check the 2 emails issue to see if we can reproduce it.
