J-BusinessDirectory - Why does Registration ID appear in the user details column?

It seems to me this is determined by the system or the administrator? When I logged in as a test user with an existing ID, so this field struck me as something I shouldn't be seeing - or it should be filled in already if the user already as an ID.

I found where I can hide that field, but I'm confuzzled that it is on by default.

Hi,

The registration id is not the user id, it is the business registration number that is valid only in some countries.
You can disable that in the attribute configuration tab.
