I think what you describe is true for most JBD addons.

Also, when there are images, the images on the image gallery are too small.

But, yes, a lot do not have screenshots.

Its just a feature so you can as user login frontend create articles that you can set up with Joomla categories and also if you like use JCE editor with all its settings there too.

So the feature is basically that you can add Joomla articles when login frontend and set up certain Joomla/JBD categories there.
