Please set the SEO mechanism to Joomla in the business directory general settings -> SEO tab.

yes, it works, but url for business card looks like that - ?view=search&categoryId=12

how do i get normal url?

I need user-friendly urls for business. How can I do it?

You have to create a menu item of type Business Listings.

For subcategories, this does not work.
component does not show business cards.
the business page does not have alias on url.

JBD v - 5.2.8 works with modern router Joomla standard settings.I have no problem and get good SEFs with all these settings on all business cards, categories etc etc

Pls check your htaccess file and if you have any SEO component that fkc up the SEF urls

The router should work with no issues for all items.

I installed a clean joomla(3.9.13)

installed J-BusinessDirectory(5.2.8)

turned on the Modern Routing

business cards does not work

if I turn off everything works

but if i install q-start J-Network.... everything works!

on the same hosting

when i replaced the .htaccess file everything worked

I was mistaken, nothing worked ((((
only a quick start with a template works

us we have the same problem what do you mind with htaccess??

The problem is that the component is not follow the joomla standar routing. If turn it in joomla seo take only the first menu item for all directory urls. Any component if we work for xml sitemaps is the same problem with JBD. Also make many 404 pages or urls with out menu alias but with JBD so is not friendly from search machines. I hope this change in 5.3 vertions because we wait for it fron semptember.

Is very good component but not help at this time with seo

I use Jsitemap so this you tell is not correct for two reasons

First the support from Jsitemap they can fix it (reason no follow joomla standars)

Second this problem know and the cmsJunkie support. if your map work how set the JBD plugin for Jsitmap to work with all menu alias? Because the standar is to use only the first of main menu. So you cann't have seo for all other.

this problem is many years. The solution is new JBD router.

If you can please sent us your jsitemap xml to see how your site work.

The J-BusinessDirectory has integrated a new router starting with version 4.9 that follows the Joomla standards and it works with any sitemap extension, if you are using the Joomla SEO in the directory extension.
@stamatis - the post that you mentioned is 4 years old and it is not actual.
On your website you required some special setup and we have removed the JComponentRouterRulesMenu on your website and that's why it was not working.
You are trying to have a special configuration to connect the menu items with the listing alias.
