Hi,
I want to show the search results of companies by random order.
Can I do this?
I do not see the option in general settings.
As far as I know, no such option exists.
A random feature would be nice, but a bump ordering system would be better, as discussed on the following thread:

Dear joe,
Thank you very much for your suggestion.
I've added some codes on
/public_html/components/com_jbusinessdirectory/models/search.php
and
/public_html/administrator/components/com_jbusinessdirectory/models/applicationsettings.php.
to sort the search result by random order.
The Idea of Bump order is nice, thank you.
Just a note, the "JBusinessDirectory - Business Listings" module does have a "Random" option:

Hi,
There is partially random mechanism implemented.
It will mix the results within the same page, not between pages.
You can set mix results to yes in the directory general settings.
Hi,
Thank you.
Regarding Mix results feature, could you tell me what will this option do?
Even when we set A-Z as default order, will mix option mix the order?
BTY sorry, I am not good at English.
I just tried the "Mixed results" setting with the "Default Order Listing" set to "Relevance".
Basically, as far as I can tell, it moves the listing up or down a few listings, but the same listings still appear on the first page.
I just ended up setting the "Default order listings" option to "Last Added".
