Not getting off to a very good start... Just five minutes after a fresh install of the component, which indicated successful, it is simply not working.

An attempt to save anything results in a blank page. Actually there are a lot of actions from the back-end that generate blank pages or errors.

Is this component compatible with !J3.2? If not, please provide a refund as we will be going with another product.

If there is a quick answer to the issues that will have it working within a few hours great. If not, we can't use the component if it doesn't work out of the box. We only have two weeks to complete the integration which leaves no time to sharpshoot code problems. Our current project site is using multiple components that are all playing nce together and we can't jeapordize the stability with J-Directory if it doesn't work properly.

The behavior that you describe is usually generated by some system plugins that use deprecate function JRequest::getVar() in Joomla 3.x.

If if it does not work please provide us joomla admin access (using contact form).

Not the problem... Changes had no affect. We've enabled an account for back-end access and will provide details.


If we can't get this fixed today, we're moving on to JomDirectory. J-Directory was our first choice; not because of price but features. As I said I don't have time to spend on code. It either works or it doesn't. We are using both K2 and JomSocial and both are working fine individually, together and with Joomla. I would expect the same of this component.

It seems that the changes to plugins are not complete. K2 plugin is still causing the problem.
There are multiple occurrences of JRequest::getVar("task") in k2 file. After replacing all occurences it will work.
