J-BusinessDirectory - Custom Attributes

Hi,

How can I change the view (Tabs style 1 or 2) for the Business Listing Details to display my custom attributes in a Tab, just like Business Details, Map and Opening Hours, etc.?

Hi Larry, 

Currently custom attributes are displayed in the designated section and not in a tab. There is no option to do that.

Thanks for the quick reply, I knew it probably couldn't be done without development changes, was hoping someone could assist me with changing the code. Shouldn't be that difficult. I know its in one of the views, but haven't found it yet.  Is that not something that I can get help with on this forum? My PHP dev skills are pretty weak at the moment.

Hi Larry,

You need to override the default view default.php in companies folder and add your own tab for custom attribute.

Copy components/com_jbusinessdirectory/views/companies/tmpl/default.php to Root/templates/your_template/html/com_jbusinessdirectory/companies/default.php and make necessary changes as you wish.

The solution provided is Khalil Hussein is OK. You can override the view and have it as you want.
This requires some knowledge of php and html.
