No sure if I understand your question correct, but you can find the settings in your module. Go to Extentions -> Module and look for type JBusinessDirectory Listing Search
We want to include the directory listings results are part of a standard joomla article search results that we have in the header of the site.
Your J business listing search module only does directory listing, We want a search result that all combined articles and listing in one site search feature.

Pls understand the difference between Joomla search and Jooma Smart search function too.
You should use Joomla smart search with JBD and also index the site after you set up the JBD plgs.
