J-BusinessDirectory - Changing ORDER BY

I'm needing to change the sorting of businesses listed on virtually all result sets from category links, searches, catalogue, etc., to a Random order, rather than by ID or Name.

Any suggestions? Which files would need modification? (I don't see this option available through the component's GUI.)

You will need to modify the search functionality on {joomla}/administrator/components/com_jbusinessdirectory/tables/company.php.

Why is it that nobody explains how to change this?

See, to me. The way I see this post is that is a big issue.  Take a moment to think about it, we are running a business directory where we intend to charge $$$ to the business owners. Obvioulsy THEY care about how and where their AD will show up.

I dont think that a business owner will like the idea that they always show at the bottom of a list because their business name starts with letter "z" and feels unfair that other business always on top because they start with numbers or letter "A"

Despite that they could upgrade to "Featured" this is not right because if many have featured upgrade there is the same sorting between those.  Im surprised this doesn't have the random sort to begin with, Our customers are the business owners and we most see this as an Important.

I am dissapointed that this has not been addressed by the staff, I wish I knew this before buying the component.
