J-BusinessDirectory - enter orders manualy

there is no way to set business as "feature" manualy because if "feature" packge is not free you must have payment valid and i can not add order manually as admin , there is only edit and delete buttons.

the only way to do it is enter as the user and pay as "bank transfer" or something like that and then approve it in the order view. and it is a lot of work.

1. is this is the only way?

2. what happen to orders that pass the dates? are they deleted ,status change?

Hi,

An order is automatically generated when you change package to a paid package and save the business listing. If a business listing has already associated a paid package you can change to a free package, save the businesss, change to paid package and save again. You will have your order generated.

The orders that will expire are not deleted. Since our last version we have introduces a new column in business listings section that shown if a package is active or not.

this is really unfriendly UI , why not make a simple button "Renew" subscription or something like that.

is there a way to patch the code and add new order from the admin panel?

There is a renew period link. It is called extend period and it is located on business listing availability details when edit the business listing.

There is not possible to patch the code to create an order. We can implement this on demand. Please contact us using the contact form if you are interested.

Since version 4.2.3 we have added a renew button on the business listings views under front-end Control Panel.
